The only thing better than Becky Hammon's catch during the offseason would be an NBA title

NBA, WNBA, San Antonio Spurs

Becky Hammon will start her third season as an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs this week as NBA play gets underway. And while basketball season is obviously where Hammon always shines -- whether as a coach or a player -- it seems like she's got some other talents that she displayed during the offseason.

You know, like catching a giant marlin during a fishing trip.

Calling it a "trophy," Hammon was clearly proud of her catch, but she went on to say her eyes are on a "bigger trophy in June." While I'm sure Spurs fans would agree with that sentiment, I think everyone can probably appreciate the picture below.

Landed this trophy before training camp, let's land a bigger trophy in June Spurs Nation!! Go Spurs Go!!.. I let him go, I won't do that with the next 🏆 !! #gospursgo #spursnation #spurs #sanantonio #nba #basketball #trophy #fishing #gsg #ThisIsWhyWePlay

And, you'll probably be happy to know, Hammon ultimately let the fish go. Because she's the best.
