CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Point guard Kyrie Irving missed the Cleveland Cavaliers' 121-109 win Saturday over the Charlotte Hornets with a right hamstring injury. Irving was pulled from the team's victory Thursday against the Boston Celtics after banging legs with LeBron James. Little-used backup Jordan McRae started in Irving's place alongside DeAndre Liggins, who is starting in place of the injured J.R. Smith. Irving is day-to-day. "When him and 'Bron collided, he got kneed in his knee, and it caused some tightness in his hamstring," Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said. "We're going to be cautious. No need to be a hero." Irving went through treatment the past two days and tested his leg earlier Saturday before the decision was made. The Cavs were also without backup forward Mike Dunleavy, who suffered a mild ankle injury Thursday. His absence left the team with just 10 healthy players.
