Jimmy Butler arrives in Minnesota, records message for Timberwolves fans

Minnesota Timberwolves

It's not a dream, Minnesota Timberwolves fans: Jimmy Butler has officially arrived.

The Timberwolves tweeted a photo of Butler joined by coach Tom Thibodeau and GM Scott Layden after Butler landed in Minnesota on Sunday. Butler showed up with a subtle look, sporting a white T-shirt, a football and a fanny pack around his waist.

Soon after, the three-time All-Star recorded his message, which included all the kinds of things that Wolves fans want to hear right now.

"I'm ready to win, I'm ready to lead ... ready to get this city on track," Butler said.

The Timberwolves posted a 31-51 record in 2016-17 and finished 13th in the Western Conference. Minnesota currently owns the longest active streak of seasons without making the playoffs, at 13.
