Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (ankle) out vs. Cowboys

NFL, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Bengals

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys because of an ankle injury.

Matthews was limited in Friday's practice. He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday.

Matthews, who first suffered his injury against the visiting Green Bay Packers on Nov. 28, has been listed on the injury report each week since that time. He missed the team's Week 13 game against the host Cincinnati Bengals because of the ankle injury.

Matthews, a second-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft by the Eagles, leads the team in receptions with 73.

Information from ESPN's Adam Caplan was used in this report.
