Vote: Which quarterback would you rather see your team draft?

Clemson Tigers, North Carolina Tar Heels, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers

As Tom Brady once again proved in Super Bowl LI, it's nearly impossible for a team to become a perennial contender without possessing an elite quarterback.

For struggling teams like the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears, landing a top young signal-caller could ultimately elevate them into contention.

Even for middle-of-the-road teams like the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, finding a franchise QB has been a long struggle that could be solved with the right pick in the 2017 NFL draft.

Mel Kiper Jr. released his Mock Draft 2.0 on Wednesday, and while this year's quarterback talent isn't as stout as it's been in years past, Clemson's Deshaun Watson and North Carolina's Mitch Trubisky are both in Kiper's top 10.

If you're the general manager for one of these teams, which quarterback would you pick to be the future of your franchise?

Vote now:

While Trubisky lacks the pedigree of Watson -- who went 32-3 as a starter and led Clemson to the national title this year -- Kiper predicts Trubisky will be the first quarterback taken in the draft, going at No. 2 to the Niners.

In his only season as the Tar Heels' starter, Trubisky threw for 3,748 yards and 30 touchdowns.

In 15 games this past season, Watson threw for 4,593 yards and 41 touchdowns.

The 2017 NFL draft is April 27-29.
