PSG returned to form to triumph 3-2 over Liga leaders Barca at the Parc des Princes in Group F, with Luis Enrique's men conceding their first goals of the season, snapping a 639-minute scoreless streak.

David Luiz, Marco Verratti and Blaise Matuidi helped them take the spoils in Paris. Barca responded with goals from their own star strikers Lionel Messi and Neymar, but could not find an equaliser.

Nemanja Matic's first-half goal was enough for Chelsea as they claimed their first win of Group G, beating Sporting 1-0 in Portugal.

A Cesc Fabregas free kick from the left in the 34th minute floated over the Sporting defense to the back post, where Matic sent a looping header over goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

In Group E, Manchester City were denied all three points after Sergio Aguero's penalty was cancelled out by 38-year-old Francesco Totti as Roma clinched a 1-1 draw.

Totti became the oldest scorer in the Champions League's 22-year history at 38 years and 3 days, breaking Ryan Giggs' record. The former Italy forward lifted a fine finish into the corner in the 23rd minute to cancel out a fourth-minute penalty won and converted by Aguero.

In Tuesday's early game, Bayern Munich made it two wins from as many matches in as Thomas Muller's first-half penalty secured a 1-0 win at CSKA Moscow.

Muller put Bayern ahead from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute, after Mario Goetze was fouled by CSKA's Mario Fernandes as he dribbled into the box.

Porto substitute Jackson Martinez scored two last-gasp goals to rescue a 2-2 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in Lviv.

Second-half strikes from Alex Teixeira and Luiz Adriano had given Shakhtar a 2-0 lead, but Martinez halved the deficit with an 89th-minute penalty and slotted home Porto's equaliser a minute into stoppage time.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar spared Schalke's blushes as he rescued a 1-1 draw at home against an impressive Maribor side after Damjan Bohar gave them the lead in the 37th minute.

BATE Borisov produced a surprising -- but deserved -- 2-1 win over faltering Athletic Bilbao in the first Champions League game at the Borisov Arena, with goals from Denis Polyakov and Aleksandr Karnitski proving too much despite Aritz Aduriz's reply.

Ajax's stuttering start to their Champions League campaign continued with a frustrating 1-1 draw at APOEL, with Gustavo Manduca's penalty penalty cancelling out Lucas Andersen's opener for the visitors.
